MIDDELBURG- Komati residents are feeling the pinch as fuel prices have officially increased today, adding pressure to already rising living costs.
According to the Central Energy Fund, petrol prices have climbed sharply this month, marking one of the more significant increases in recent years. The rise is expected to affect not only motorists but also the cost of transport, food, and essential goods in our community.

The Fuel Industry Association of South Africa has also raised concerns about affordability, warning that continued increases could place further strain on households and businesses.

- Higher travel and commuting costs
- Possible increases in food and delivery prices
- Added pressure on small businesses and workers
- Experts note that global tensions are pushing fuel prices up, and changes may continue in the coming months.
